Thought-provoking stuff, as always, Jamie. The piece on agents applying for jobs is super interesting. I've been watching someone I know, for months now, trying to apply for jobs in a difficult market. Countless applications, usually no response, and when they do come, it's an auto-generated rejection with no valuable insight, so is just met with disappointment.

I've been imagining a scenario whereby the agent is applying on behalf of the individual, who doesn't even need to know how many jobs have been applied for and what success rate, just bring informed of those where it can go to the next stage. No more form filling with the same info in a different way. Tailored applications to roles. Employers being able to trust data (subject to the points you raise). Once the challenges have been surmounted, this stands to be a personal favourite use case of mine that could seriously disrupt the employment market (in a good way).

Definitely one I'm keeping watch on.
